Marketing Intern

Job description

As a Marketing Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role in our social media and event management activities. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to build engaging social media content, assist in managing marketing tasks, and support event coordination.

Responsibilities:

50% Social Media Design & Support:

• Assist in creating, designing, and scheduling social media content for LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Research and propose content ideas to keep our social media presence fresh and relevant.
• Monitor social media metrics and engage with followers as needed.

30% Administrative and Marketing Team Task Support:

• Collaborate with the marketing team on project and task management to meet deadlines.
• Assist in coordinating creative, communication and deliverables for various marketing initiatives.
• Provide general support for marketing projects, including organizing files and documents.

20% Event Support:

• Support event planning, coordination, and on-site execution.
• Help prepare ahead of events by organizing swag and print materials.
• Assist with any needed event creative.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Junior or Senior standing at a local college, with eligibility for internship credit.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and visual design.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.
